The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be a strategic partner to the business, aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals for the managed spaces company. The HRBP will be responsible for driving HR programs that support employee engagement, development, and retention, while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. This role will require a deep understanding of the business operations, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to influence and lead change.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Partnership:
– Collaborate with business leaders to understand operational goals and develop HR strategies that support business objectives.
– Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, talent management, and organizational design.
– Act as a consultant to management on HR-related issues, proposing solutions aligned with business needs.
2. Talent Retention and Engagement:
– Develop and implement retention strategies, including employee engagement initiatives, career development programs, and succession planning.
3. Performance Management:
– Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, coaching, performance evaluations, and development plans.
– Provide guidance to managers on addressing performance issues and developing high-performing teams.
4. Employee Relations:
– Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, providing support and resolution in a timely and effective manner.
– Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies, handling employee grievances and disciplinary actions when necessary.
5. Learning and Development:
– Identify training needs and collaborate with the L&D team to design and deliver programs that enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
– Support the development of a continuous learning culture within the organization.
6. Change Management:
– Lead and support change initiatives within the business, ensuring smooth transitions and employee alignment with new processes or structures.
– Communicate effectively with employees at all levels, fostering an open and transparent organizational culture.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
– 8+ years of experience in an HR Business Partner or similar role.
– Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and influence at all levels of the organization.
– Experience in a managed spaces, real estate, or facilities management industry is a plus.
