BHIVE Workspace is looking for a Project Procurement Buyer to manage end-to-end procurement processes for workspace projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services while ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement plans for projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and budget constraints.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and vendors for project-related materials and services.
- Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms with vendors to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Purchase Order Management: Issue and track purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project timelines.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with project managers, site engineers, finance, and other internal teams to meet procurement requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured items meet the required quality standards and compliance regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential procurement risks, such as supply chain disruptions or price fluctuations.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain procurement records, vendor agreements, and performance reports for audit and compliance purposes.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 3-7 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or project purchasing, preferably in real estate, construction, or coworking spaces.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and contract management
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in procurement for interior fit-outs, furniture, IT infrastructure, and workspace essentials
- Knowledge of local and international sourcing strategies
- Prior experience in a coworking, real estate, or hospitality sector is a plus
