Overview : We are seeking a highly organized and technically proficient individual to join our team as an Assistant Facility Manager. This role is responsible for supporting the efficient operation and maintenance of our facilities, with a strong emphasis on technical systems and infrastructure.
Roles and Responsibility :
- To ensure all Technical operations in adherence of SOP, Process & Quality Standards
- Ensure vendor services are received as per SLAs/Scope of Services and rated for performance
- To coordinate with the Projects team to understand MEP & civil & structural related works to be undertaken on an ongoing basis, with specific focus on the roof & internal warehouse flooring.
- To plan and execute time bound preventive maintenance activities at site.
- Monitor and supervise the operation of critical engineering systems, including but not limited to electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
- Should have adequate exposure working on campus operations as he is expected to work on high side equipment like transformer, chillers, fire hydrant systems.
- Team management skills as they will be InCharge of working closely with a small in-house team and a large vendor-based teams.
- Risk assessment and Reporting exposure.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance activities to identify potential faults or malfunctions and address them proactively.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to emergency situations, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate necessary repairs to minimize disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and equipment status.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including facility management, operations, and contractors, to ensure smooth coordination of maintenance activities and adherence to safety protocols.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize maintenance procedures and suggest improvements to enhance the reliability and efficiency of systems.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, codes, and regulations related to engineering systems and propose the adoption of new technologies or practices when appropriate.
- Assist in the planning and execution of capital projects related to engineering systems, working closely with project managers and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance technicians and other staff to ensure proper understanding and execution of engineering procedures.
- Comply with all internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to safety, environmental protection, and quality control.
- Proven experience in building operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of engineering systems.
- Sound knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Qualification :
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field.
5 Years of experience in facility management with a focus on technical operations.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security systems.
Specifically handle the civil, MEP maintenance & repairs function.
