Job Summary : BHIVE is building its alternatives business as a strategic growth engine to mobilize capital for its expansion, structured investment products, and future investment platforms. The Business Head – BHIVE capital will lead this vertical end to end.
This role is not limited to fundraising. It is a business leadership role responsible for shaping the BHIVE capital strategy, creating investable products and structures, building channel and investor partnerships, driving capital mobilisation, and scaling the operating model for this business.
The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial instinct, product thinking, capital-raising capability, and partnership-building ability. We are looking for a leader who has played a meaningful business development or growth role in a new-age investment, fintech, private markets, fractional ownership, or alternative assets platform, and who can help build BHIVE capital into a scaled and credible investment business.
This role will report directly to the CEO and work closely with Finance, Legal, Investments, Business, and Leadership teams.
Core Mandate
Build and scale BHIVE capital as a high-trust alternative investments and capital platform that supports BHIVE’s growth ambitions through the design, distribution, and execution of attractive investment opportunities for the right investor and partner segments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Building & Vertical Strategy
- Build the overall business strategy for BHIVE capital in line with BHIVE’s expansion and capital requirements.
- Translate BHIVE’s growth plans into scalable investment offerings, channel strategies, and capital mobilisation programs.
- Help define the medium-term business model for the capital vertical, including products, distribution architecture, investor segments, and partnerships.
- Work with leadership to identify new opportunities in structured real estate investments, platform partnerships, co-investment models, and future managed investment vehicles.
2. Investment Product & Structure Development
- Conceptualize and help launch investment products and capital structures such as SPV-based opportunities, asset-backed products, NCDs, CCDs, equity-linked investments, franchise-led investment structures, and future AIF-linked offerings.
- Work closely with Finance and Legal to ensure all products are commercially attractive, operationally viable, and regulatorily compliant.
- Continuously refine product design based on investor feedback, market response, risk appetite, cash flow profile, and competitive context.
- Ensure that investment propositions are clearly packaged, well-positioned, and easy for partners and investors to understand.
3. Distribution & Channel Partnerships
- Build and scale a high-quality distribution ecosystem across wealth platforms, private client networks, family offices, investment platforms, intermediaries, channel partners, and strategic capital sources.
- Identify and onboard strong distribution relationships that can become repeat sources of capital.
- Create an effective channel engagement model including product training, partner support material, communication rhythm, and performance tracking.
- Drive key partner conversations personally and build long-term trust-based relationships with senior decision-makers.
4. Investor & Ecosystem Relationships
- Build relationships with HNIs, UHNIs, family offices, strategic investors, and other relevant capital providers.
- Represent BHIVE capital externally in high-quality forums, investor events, and strategic relationship meetings.
- Build BHIVE’s credibility as a differentiated real-estate and alternative investments platform.
- Ensure a strong investor experience through timely communication, disciplined follow-up, quality MIS, and confidence-building engagement.
5. Fundraising & Capital Mobilisation
- Own the capital mobilisation agenda across BHIVE capital offerings and partnerships.
- Build a strong and predictable capital pipeline with clear stages such as lead, qualified, engaged, committed, and funded.
- Create visibility into fundraising performance, conversion ratios, partner productivity, investor pipeline, and closure velocity.
- Drive fundraising outcomes aligned to BHIVE’s business priorities and capital requirements.
6. Strategic Expansion Partnerships
- Identify capital and business partnerships that can support BHIVE’s entry into new cities, micro-markets, or strategic formats.
- Explore co-branded or city-specific investment models with local partners, operators, developers, and strategic investors.
- Support leadership in evaluating strategic tie-ups where capital and operating leverage can together accelerate growth.
7. Governance, Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure all fundraising, partner engagement, and investor communication activities are compliant with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work with internal and external counsel to standardize term sheets, agreements, investment documents, disclosures, KYC processes, and audit trails.
- Maintain discipline around documentation, approvals, partner onboarding, investor records, and due diligence readiness.
- Help build a professional and institution-ready governance layer for the BHIVE capital vertical.
8. Team Building & Operating Rhythm
- Build and lead a small, high-performance team for fundraising, partner management, investor servicing, and execution support over time.
- Put in place operating dashboards, review rhythm, target setting, and performance management mechanisms for the team.
- Develop internal capability so the business scales beyond founder-led or relationship-led dependence.
Ideal Candidate Profile
We are looking for a commercially strong and externally credible leader who has helped build or scale a business line in one or more of the following environments:
- Alternative investment platforms
- Fractional ownership platforms
- Real estate investment platforms
- Investment fintech / wealth-tech businesses
- Private markets / structured investment platforms
- New-age capital distribution businesses
- High-quality wealth or alternatives firms, where the candidate has gone beyond pure relationship management and contributed to business growth, partnerships, and scaling

Education & Experience
- 12–18 years of relevant experience
- MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent preferred, but not mandatory for the right candidate
- Strong track record in business development, strategic partnerships, capital mobilisation, alternative products, or platform-led investment businesses
- Experience in new-age or emerging investment businesses will be highly valued
