Job Summary: The Electrical Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings and documentation for coworking fit-out projects, based on inputs from the Electrical Design team. The role ensures drawings are compliant with approved designs, codes, and project standards, and supports smooth coordination between design, procurement, and site execution teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical drawings (Power, lighting, cable tray & Raceway) as per design intent and instructions from the Assistant Manager/Manager.
- Update drawings to reflect design revisions, site changes and coordination inputs from other disciplines (architecture, HVAC, plumbing, fire).
- Ensure all drawings adhere to NBC and local electrical code requirements as guided by the design team.
- Generate drawing with Quntity‘s outputs required for BOQ preparation, vendor discussions, and site execution.
- Coordinate with site teams to issue “Good for Construction” (GFC) drawings and promptly incorporate red-line mark-ups from site.
- Preparing the DB details.
- Share drawing prints/soft copies to relevant teams within defined timelines.
Qualifications & Skill
- Diploma / ITI in Electrical Draftsmanship or related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience as an electrical draftsman in commercial interiors/fit-outs.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); Revit or other BIM tools is an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of MEP building services.
