Job Summary: The HVAC Draftsman is responsible for preparing precise HVAC drawings and mechanical services drawing for coworking fit – out projects. The role converts design concepts and calculations provided by the HVAC designs team into coordinated executable drawings that support procurement and site implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Prepare HVAC layouts (ducting, piping, diffusers, grills, AHU/FCU locations, ventilation paths) as per inputs from the Assistant Manager/Manager.
2.Update drawings to reflect design changes, site constraints, and coordination with other services (electrical, plumbing, fire, architectural).
3.Follow applicable codes and standards as advised by the design team while preparing layouts.
4.Maintain drawing registers including issue dates, revision numbers, and approval tracking.
5.Produce drawing sets required for BOQs, tendering,and execution (plans, sections, details, schematics).
6.Coordinate with site teams to issue GFC drawings and incorporate red-line mark-ups.
7.Support preparation of coordinated service drawings and reflected ceiling plans where needed.
8.Prepare as-built HVAC drawings based on final executed works.
9.Adhere to CAD/Revit standards, layer management, and naming conventions.
Qualifications & Skill
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Draftsmanship or related discipline.
- 2–5 years’ experience as HVAC/mechanical draftsman in commercial or interior projects.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP or similar BIM tools is a plus.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and building services coordination.
