The Senior Business Manager – Sales will manage a team of investment sales professionals managing 1500 investors with a portfolio up to Rs. 400 Cr. Investments would include various structures including asset leasing, NCD, CCD etc. The investment manager would be responsible for end-to-end lifecycle management of investors including, investment documentation, compliance, pitching for fund raising from existing investors etc. Additionally, the person would be closely working with the business head in business management of the overall portfolio. This would include team management, analytics of the business operations and performance, project management of investment rounds as well as inter-departmental coordination. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in deal closures and wealth management or investment banking and offers the opportunity to gain exposure to various
aspects of real estate and alternative investments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including online research, networking, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities.
Client Consultation:
- Conduct needs assessments and consult with potential clients to understand their workspace requirements, including office size, location, amenities, and lease terms.
- Provide information about the benefits of managed office solutions.
Proposal Development:
- Prepare detailed proposals, including pricing, terms, and contract terms.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure the feasibility and availability of office spaces.
Negotiation and Closing:
- Engage in negotiation discussions to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Close deals and secure signed contracts.
Account Management:
- Maintain relationships with existing clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.
Market Analysis:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
- Adjust sales strategies as needed to remain competitive.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and progress in a CRM system.
- Generate regular sales reports for management.
Collaboration and communication: Proactive monitoring and collaboration with team members and internal departments are necessary to guarantee seamless operations at the centre.
