Objective: BHIVE Workspace is looking for a highly skilled Senior Legal Executive with 4–6 years of experience to support our strategic initiatives, particularly in contract drafting, legal structuring of capital instruments, and due diligence. This is a high-impact role requiring strong commercial and legal acumen to support BHIVE’s business growth and compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating various types of commercial agreements such as service agreements, NDA’s, IT/SaaS agreements, consultancy agreements, marketing agreements, business conducting agreements, service level agreements with vendors, engagement letters, MOUs and other paperwork typical to a B2B/retail business category.
- Provide legal advisory on business queries related to IP, dispute resolution, and paperwork structuring.
- Drafting lease deeds and leave and license agreements, coordinating with external counsels for procuring accurate title reports.
- Drafting legal notices and responses to notices, complaints, and responses to complaints, etc.
- Co-ordinating with various internal functions including sales, operations, customer success and procurement teams.
- Co-ordinating with external stakeholders such as trustees, law firms, external counsels, advisors, etc.
- Maintaining cause list and updates of litigations with support of external counsels.
- Maintaining updates on applicable laws, including BBMP bylaws, labour law, municipal laws, etc.
Requirements: - LLB (mandatory)
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in corporate law, preferably in a startup, law firm, or investment-focused environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Companies Act, SEBI regulations, FEMA, and contract law.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Collaboration and communication: Proactive monitoring and collaboration with team members and internal departments are necessary to guarantee seamless operations at the center.
