Job Summary: The SVP Business Development at BHIVE Workspace drives organizational growth and market leadership by spearheading large, complex deals and outbound sales efforts across the coworking and commercial real estate sector. Delivering sustained business growth and revenue results through innovative B2B outreach. A key responsibility is to build the large deal sales department from scratch and play a pivotal role in expanding BHIVE’s brand presence and market influence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and execute large, high value sales deals, with a focus on large enterprise and managed office solutions.
- Drive the identification, engagement, and nurturing of new business opportunities using advanced prospecting, digital/channel outreach, and market research.
- Lead, coach, and scale outbound sales team; establish KPIs, monitor performance, and drive continuous skill development, personally manage relationships and lead high-value deal closures, leveraging deep industry contacts and insights.
- Foster strong cross-functional collaboration with leadership, marketing, and delivery teams for seamless onboarding and exceptional client experience.
- Represent BHIVE as a strategic thought leader and brand ambassador at industry events, networking forums, and seminars.
- Actively shape go-to-market planning, market segmentation, and development of value propositions tailored to evolving client needs.
- Maintain a proactive approach to monitoring the competitive landscape by regularly gathering and analysing competitor intelligence. Leverage these insights to strategically refine and adapt business tactics and initiatives, ensuring the organization stays ahead in market positioning and responds swiftly to industry changes.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 17–20 years of progressive outbound sales/business development leadership, commercial real estate, or B2B enterprise solutions. Must have hands on experience of structuring and managing long term complex deals.
- Proven experience in building and leading high-performing teams to exceed ambitious growth targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive influence skills, with a robust network of industry relationships.
- Strategic outlook with strong analytical and planning capabilities; data-driven decision maker.
- Mastery of modern sales tools (CRM, analytics) and digital prospecting methodologies.
- Bachelors’ degree / related field required; MBA preferred.
