ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are looking for a hands-on builder who can own the complete lifecycle of digital operations, from integrating third-party tools and payment gateways to crafting WordPress experiences and automating multi-step workflows through power automate or similar tools – without heavy reliance on traditional software engineering. You will work closely with business and product teams to translate requirements into live solutions with minimal engineering overhead. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Design, build, Enhance and maintain multiple WordPress sites with custom plugins, form logic, and business-specific modules on WP Engine 
  Manage WP Engine hosting – multisite configuration, staging environments, and deployment workflows 

• Build and maintain end-to-end user journeys (lead -> checkout -> payment -> contract -> dashboard) using no-code/low-code platforms 

• Sync data across CRM, marketing, and communication platforms 

• Develop and maintain automation workflows for contract generation, billing, renewals, and resubmissions 

• Manage customer support integrations (ticketing system, workflow system) including routing and ticketing logic 

• Set up and maintain UTM tracking, campaign attribution, and lead source pipelines from ads to CRM 

• Support AI agent/voice bot integrations (call routing, IVR design, round-robin logic) 

• Debug and resolve issues across APIs, automation workflows, and payment flows 

MUST-HAVE SKILLS 

• Hands-on WordPress development – custom plugins, shortcodes, custom post types, and database interaction 

• WP Engine hosting – multisite configuration, staging environments, and deployment workflows 

• Basic PHP and/or JavaScript for plugin-level customization and webhook handling 

• UTM tracking setup, campaign attribution configuration, and marketing data pipelines (ads -> website -> CRM) 

• Working knowledge of payment gateway integration (success/failure states, callbacks) 

• REST API integration – reading docs, setting up webhooks, handling auth (OAuth, API keys), and parsing JSON payloads 

• Proficiency in at least one no-code automation platform: Zapier, Make (Integromat), Zoho Flow, or Power Automate 

• Comfort with agentic UI tools and AI-assisted development 

• Strong debugging mindset – root cause analysis across APIs and automation layers
