Senior Associate Finance, CEO Office

his role is primarily responsible for managing the ESOPs program and overseeing all its financial, accounting, and compliance aspects at BHIVE Group. The candidate will manage the end-to-end ESOP program, requiring in-depth knowledge of statutory ESOP regulations and IGAAP / Ind AS Accounting. This includes data analysis for issuing ESOPs, streamlining back-end paperwork, issuing necessary documents to ESOP holders, and maintaining accurate data on the ESOP tool.

In addition, the role involves analyzing day-to-day financial activities and tasks for the CEO’s office, providing reports and insights to top management. The candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, legal, HR, finance & accounts, and other departments to ensure overall organizational compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

FINANCE MANAGEMENT

  • Anchor and manage the ‘Employee ESOPs’ workstream, including support with calculations during compensation structuring, issuing ESOP letters and documents to holders, and informing internal stakeholders of any policy or process changes.
  • Ensure compliance with The Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI Regulations, including Companies (Share Capital & Debenture) Rules 2014 and SEBI (Share-Based Employee Benefits) Regulations 2014, along with other relevant frameworks regarding ESOPs.
  • Oversee adherence to IGAAP / Ind AS requirements, ensuring timely documentation, real-time tracking, and updating of ESOP data in the system.
  • Evaluate employee compensation structures, recommending tax-efficient changes and alignment with industry best practices.
  • Prepare monthly ESOP reports and build/monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for tasks such as closing, reconciling, and other departmental financial duties.
  • Ensure smooth accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities within the organization.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statements, forecasts), ensuring alignment with company goals and financial health.
  • Prepare and implement sales incentive structures to motivate the sales team.
  • Prepare investor decks, ad hoc reports, and furnish details for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assemble and summarize data to generate detailed financial reports and risk analyses.
  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking, and perform process analysis.
  • Conduct business studies on past, future, and comparative performance to develop accurate forecast models.
  • Identify financial trends and provide insights to senior financial analysts, recommending actionable steps.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in the field to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Consult with management to provide guidance for long-term, strategic decisions.

Minimum qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified CA / CA Inter/MBA
  • 3-4 years of overall experience in a similar position and/or experience with financial analysis, business operations, project and program management
  • Sound knowledge of the relevant regulatory framework and corporate regulations applicable to the post
  • Proven financial planning experience at the management level
  • Knowledge of risk, controls and compliance
  • Experience of working in a Real Estate Sector/ Flex Space Business is preferred
  • Long timer in a single stint at job is a plus

Additional Requirements

  • Proven track record of complex data management.
  • IPO experience is a big Plus
  • Strong understanding of ESOPs and tax-efficient salary structures

  • Proficiency in MS Office Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated individual with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Highly enterprising with excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and perform under tight timelines
  • Able to work and deliver under minimal supervision/independently Attention to detail
  • Proven working experience as a Finance Analyst
  • Hands on experience with statistical analysis and statistical packages
  • Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
  • Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
  • Well informed in current financial subjects, accounting, tax laws, money market and business environments
