Job Overview: Lead – Investor Relations & Engagement
As the Lead for Investor Relations & Engagement, you will be responsible for managing and enhancing the relationship between the company and its investors. You will drive all communication with investors, organize investor engagement events, and provide in-depth intelligence and analytics to profile the investor base. The role will also involve supporting the team in fundraising activities via various instruments and structures. This position requires a strategic mindset, strong communication skills, and a solid background in wealth management or investor relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Regular Communication with Investors:
- Oversee and manage consistent and transparent communication with current and prospective investors.
- Ensure that investor queries are promptly and professionally addressed.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of investor concerns and feedback to help improve engagement strategies.
- Provide functional support in development of technology tools & applications to improve investor relationship management
- Building Investor Community & Organizing Events:
- Build a sense of community among an investor base of over 1,000 HNIs
- Plan and execute investor relations events, including regular meetings, webinars, investor conferences, and one-on-one investor calls
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare materials and presentations for such events.
- Ensure that these events provide valuable information and foster strong relationships with investors.
- Building Intelligence & Analytics:
- Conduct in-depth analysis and profiling of the investor base to understand key investor demographics and behavior.
- Develop strategies for engaging different investor segments based on their interests and preferences.
- Utilize analytics tools to track investor engagement metrics and optimize communication strategies.
- Support in Fund Raise Initiatives:
- Assist in the execution of various fundraising activities, including preparing materials, presentations, and proposals.
- Work closely with the investment team to understand funding needs and develop engagement strategies with potential investors.
- Where required, lead fund raising discussions and close deals with investors.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience in wealth management, investor relations, or a similar field.
- A CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification or an MBA from a reputed Institute
- Strong knowledge of investor engagement strategies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Maturity to see the big picture and take ownership of managing an existing and growing investor base of 1,000 + HNI investors
