About BHIVE Workspace

BHIVE Workspace is one of Bengaluru’s leading flexible workspace providers. Founded in 2014, BHIVE has grown into a homegrown brand that offers coworking spaces, managed offices and enterprise workspace solutions across key business districts in the city. We serve thousands of members, from early-stage startups and freelancers to large enterprises and global companies.

Our goal is to make great workspaces accessible, so that businesses of every size can grow without the cost and complexity of traditional real estate. Beyond workspaces, BHIVE is building a wider real estate ecosystem that includes investment-led platforms.

BHIVE is in a strong growth phase, opening new centres and expanding our portfolio across Bengaluru. You’ll have real ownership, work closely with leadership, and help shape how India’s next generation of businesses works.

Why join us

  • Join a well-established brand with 30+ centres across Bengaluru’s prime business hubs
  • Be part of a fast-growing, founder-led company with a big expansion roadmap
  • Take on high-ownership roles with visible impact and direct access to leadership
  • Work in a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture where ideas move quickly
  • Learn across real estate, hospitality, sales and technology

About the Role

The CEO’s Office doesn’t own a single function; it drives the CEO’s agenda across Finance, Strategy, Investor Relations, Real Estate, Revenue and Marketing. You will own complete workstreams end to end – from driving the organisation’s goal-setting to fixing the processes and controls that influence those goals. You’ll run your workstreams independently, with direct visibility to the CEO and leadership. This is a senior role in the CEO’s Office, sitting one level below the Chief of Staff, with the autonomy and mandate to shape how the company executes.

Why this role matters now

BHIVE is at a pivotal point. If we hit our execution milestones over the next two years, we can move into a very different league of growth – and how we execute in these two years will shape the next ten years for the company. What stands between us and the desired future state is mostly execution gaps and complex, org-level problems. This role exists to close them. If that excites you, the impact this position can have is huge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Org goals and execution: Drive the annual and quarterly goal-setting process with leadership, and own tracking and reviews against those goals, driving the whole organisation towards execution.
  • Process efficiency: Find and fix inefficiencies in commercial and operational processes, owning each from diagnosis through to an implemented, measurable improvement.
  • Payouts and controls: Verify that payouts and internal controls work as intended; identify gaps and own the fixes through to closure with the relevant teams.
  • Initiative tracking: Track whether key initiatives are succeeding – define success measures upfront, review outcomes honestly, and push for course correction early.
  • Cross-functional delivery: Own cross-departmental programmes so that work comes together rather than falling between teams; align owners, resolve conflicts and hold teams to timelines.
  • Leadership review cadences: Run the CEO’s Office review cadences independently, so leadership forums focus on decisions and accountability rather than status updates.
  • Decision-shaping analysis: Lead analyses on financials, MIS, cash flow and business performance that inform leadership decisions, and contribute to board and investor work with Finance.
  • Complex org-level problems: Take ownership of complex, ambiguous problems as they emerge and drive them to resolution, including the design and rollout of policies and process changes.

What Success look like

  • In 90 days: You have taken full ownership of two to three workstreams from the Chief of Staff, delivered your first process improvements, and put clear goals and tracking in place for the current quarter.
  • In 12 months: Annual and quarterly org goals are clearly set and tracked; multiple process improvements have been delivered with measurable impact; and leadership sees you as the go-to owner for complex cross-functional problems within the areas you’re handling.

What you’ll need

  • Education & Experience: Full-time MBA with 4–6 years of total experience, including at least 2 years post-MBA, with preference for foundations in consulting, analytics, finance, or a fast-paced operating role.
  • Ownership Mindset: A track record of owning complete workstreams end to end and delivering outcomes with minimal oversight.
  • Structured Thinking: Able to break a problem into parts from first principles, gather relevant information, and put together a clear, organised output.
  • Business & Financial Acumen: Comfortable reading financial statements, cash flow and unit economics; strong Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Execution & Follow-through: Proven ability to drive several complex initiatives to closure in parallel, holding stakeholders to their commitments.
  • Communication: Clear written and verbal communication; able to influence and, where needed, challenge senior leaders across teams.
  • Adaptability: Willing to move between ops and strategy work as priorities shift, week to week.
  • Discretion: Trusted with confidential financial, investor and people information.

Good to haves

  • Industry exposure: Flex workspace / coworking, commercial real estate, hospitality / other multi-location, asset-heavy businesses.
  • Relevant experience: Strategy or operations consulting / a founder’s or CEO’s office / strategy roles in high-growth companies.
  • Functional depth: Finance or strategy specialisation; exposure to financial models, MIS, FP&A, or fundraise/board work. A CA qualification is a plus.
  • AI fluency: Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude) as a daily working habit for research, drafting, analysis, and speeding up ops/strategy work.

What you’ll get

  • A front-row seat to how the CEO and leadership team run the business, including board and investor work.
  • Exposure and ownership across Finance, Strategy, Sales, Real Estate and People within your first year.
  • Regular, direct exposure to the CEO as well as the Chief of Staff – you’ll present your own work in leadership forums, not just support it.
  • A clear growth path: as your scope expands, the role is designed to grow into a larger leadership position within the CEO’s Office or a business function.
  • The opportunity to build and lead your own team as the CEO’s Office scope grows.
