Role Overview: The Senior Investment Manager is a senior individual contributor and key capital raiser for BHIVE Capital. This role is specifically designed for wealth management professionals who bring a ready, personal HNI network capable of deploying ₹10–12 Cr from their own relationships. The candidate will independently originate, pitch, and close high-value investments in FOCO, CCD, and CCPS, while also supporting and mentoring the investment
manager team.
This is not a portfolio management or back-office role. It is a senior front-line fundraising role where the candidate’s own network and credibility with HNI investors is the primary selection criterion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Network-Led Capital Raising (Primary)
• Leverage personal HNI/UHNI network to originate, pitch, and close high-value investments in FOCO, CCD, and CCPS
• Bring minimum 100+ qualified HNI relationships capable of investing ₹10L–₹1 Cr+ tickets
• Target to activate and deploy ₹10–12 Cr from personal network within the first 6–9 months
• Build a sustained pipeline of new investor relationships beyond the initial network
2. High-Value Investor Relationship Management
• Own and manage a portfolio of high-net-worth investor relationships — including UHNI investors and small family offices
• Lead complex, multi-meeting investor conversations involving equity risk, lock-in periods, and IPO timelines
• Represent BHIVE at investor events, wealth management networking sessions, and partner meetings
• Handle senior investor escalations and relationship-critical situations with maturity and authority
3. Wealth Platform & Distribution Partnerships
• Identify, engage, and onboard wealth management platforms, private banks, and boutique wealth advisors as distribution partners
• Negotiate commercial terms and engagement models with platform partners
• Build and manage a pipeline of platform partnerships that create repeatable, scalable capital inflow
4. Team Support & Knowledge Transfer
• Support and guide the Investment Manager team on complex investor conversations and product pitching
• Share best practices on HNI engagement, objection handling, and relationship deepening
• Provide feedback to the Finance Head on product positioning, market response, and investor sentiment
5. Investor Communications & Reporting
• Lead preparation of investor-facing materials — presentations, product notes, performance summaries
• Plan and execute investor events — dinners, briefings, webinars, property tours
• Work with the IR team on monthly payout communications, portfolio updates, and escalation resolution
6. Market Intelligence
• Track competitor fundraising structures in alternatives, real estate yield products, and private wealth distribution
• Provide periodic insights to leadership on market terms, investor expectations, and product-market fit
Collaboration and communication: Proactive monitoring and collaboration with team members and internal departments are necessary to guarantee seamless operations at the Centre.
