About BHIVE
BHIVE is one of India’s leading managed workspace companies, operating premium coworking and enterprise workspace centers across Bengaluru and other cities.
As part of its next phase of growth, BHIVE is building a Digital Operating System that integrates enterprise applications, workflows, automation, and real-time data across the organization. This platform is intended to improve operational efficiency, governance, traceability, and decision support at scale.
Job Summary:
The Senior Program Manager will coordinate the implementation of BHIVE’s Digital Operating System across departments, ensuring that enterprise systems, workflow automation, and platform integrations are rolled out in a structured and disciplined manner.
The role requires someone who can translate architecture and platform design into executable implementation programs, manage cross-functional dependencies, and ensure that systems are implemented with clearly defined workflows, SLAs, governance mechanisms, and operational accountability.
A strong candidate should be able to create detailed Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) for event-driven systems involving workflows, escalations, governance checkpoints, approval hierarchies, and traceability. The candidate should also be capable of building internal capability by training other Program Managers in these areas.
Experience in implementing AI solutions, especially agentic applications, will be considered an added advantage rather than a mandatory requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technology program implementation
• Lead enterprise technology implementation programs related to BHIVE’s Digital Operating System.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution from architecture and design through implementation, stabilization, and operational adoption.
• Drive milestone discipline, issue resolution, dependency management, and implementation of readiness across departments.
2. Business requirements and solution design
• Create and refine high-quality BRDs for workflow-led and event-driven systems.
• Document workflow stages, trigger events, exception paths, SLA logic, approval chains, governance checkpoints, auditability needs, integrations, and reporting requirements.
• Ensure requirements are implementation-ready for architects, engineering teams, automation teams, and vendors.
3. Workflow, SLA, and governance implementation
• Translate business processes into structured digital workflows that can be operationalized on enterprise platforms.
• Ensure every workflow is designed with appropriate turnaround expectations, escalation logic, ownership, and governance controls.
• Support the design of disciplined operating mechanisms with transparency, accountability, and traceability built in.
4. Cross-functional coordination and rollout
• Act as the coordination bridge between business teams, architects, platform teams, IT infrastructure, and vendors.
• Manage cross-department dependencies and drive timely resolution of implementation blockers.
• Ensure department-level readiness for rollout, adoption, process alignment, and governance compliance.
5. Documentation and operational playbooks
• Develop and maintain structured documentation for technology programs, including workflow definitions, implementation of roadmaps, governance frameworks, SOPs, and operating playbooks.
• Support creation of reusable templates and documentation standards for the PMU.
6. Capability building within PMU
• Train and mentor Program Managers in writing strong BRDs for workflow-led and event-driven systems.
• Help other Program Managers understand how to define SLAs, exception handling, approval logic, and governance requirements in system design.
• Contribute to capability-building sessions, quality reviews, and implementation standards for the PMU.
7. Workflow-platform and automation exposure
• Contribute to solution design and implementation planning for workflow automation platforms such as n8n or similar tools.
• Candidates with practical exposure to trigger-event logic, API-led automation, node-based orchestration, exception routing, and workflow governance on such platforms will be preferred.
8. AI-enabled programs (added advantage)
• Exposure to implementation of AI solutions, especially agentic applications, copilots, or workflow-linked decision-support systems, will be considered a strong plus.
• Where relevant, support evaluation of AI-led opportunities in a practical, governed, and operationally usable manner.
Required qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Typically, 6-10 years of experience in technology program management, digital transformation programs, enterprise platform implementations, or workflow-automation-led initiatives.
Required skills and experience
• Strong experience managing enterprise technology implementation programs.
• Strong understanding of business process workflows, automation, and event-driven system design.
• Proven ability to create detailed BRDs for systems involving workflows, SLAs, exception handling, governance mechanisms, role-based approvals, and operational controls.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in complex business and technology projects.
• Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, architects, engineering teams, workflow-platform teams, and vendors.
• Strong documentation, process design, and implementation-planning capability.
• Experience managing timelines, dependencies, implementation risks, and adoption of readiness.
• Ability to train or mentor other Program Managers or Business Analysts in requirement definition and disciplined execution.
Preferred experience
• Enterprise platform implementation such as ERP, CRM, workflow platforms, or BPM systems.
• Business process automation, digital transformation, or enterprise system integration programs.
• Practical exposure to low-code or workflow-orchestration tools such as n8n, or similar platforms.
• Exposure to implementation of AI solutions, especially agentic applications, copilots, or human-in-the-loop AI workflows, will be an added advantage.
Key competencies
• Strong systems thinking and process orientation.
• Ability to translate architecture into executable implementation programs.
• Structured approach to workflow design, SLA logic, and governance.
• High clarity in requirement decomposition, exception mapping, and operational design thinking.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and documentation discipline.
• Capability to coach and elevate execution quality in other Program Managers.
What success looks like in this role
• Creation of implementation-ready BRDs for complex workflow-led and event-driven systems.
• Successful rollout of systems with clearly defined workflows, SLAs, governance controls, and escalation logic.
• Strong adoption of new platforms by operational teams with reduced ambiguity and rework.
• Improved PMU capability through structured training, templates, and better implementation discipline.
• Meaningful automation progress across departments, with AI-led use cases treated as a value-adding advantage where appropriate.
