Job Summary: As our coworking portfolio continues to scale across multiple locations, we are looking for a Compliance and Licensing Professional to own statutory and regulatory compliance end-to-end across all centres. This role will act as the single point of ownership for statutory licenses, approvals, renewals, and regulatory coordination, ensuring centres remain operationally compliant while enabling fast and smooth expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the complete lifecycle of statutory licenses and registrations across all centers (including Shops &Establishment, Trade License, Signage licenses, Labour Department registrations, Fire NOC, Lift and DG licenses etc.)
- Maintain and continuously update a centralized compliance and renewal tracker.
- Apply for licenses and approvals required for new centers and expansions.
- Manage renewals proactively to ensure zero compliance lapses.
- Coordinate with municipal bodies, fire authorities, labour departments, and other licensing authorities.
- Support inspections, regulatory visits, and authority interactions.
- Act as the first point of response for compliance with queries, notices, or inspections.
- Ensure statutory notices and licenses are properly displayed at operational centers.
- Support and oversee all labour department licenses and registrations for corporate headquarters.
- Partner with operations teams to ensure compliance with readiness before center launches.
- Track location-specific regulatory requirements and ensure documentation of readiness at all times.

- Experience interacting with government authorities or managing statutory approvals preferred.

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Practical problem-solver who can drive outcomes independently.
- Ability to coordinate across operations, HR, facilities, external relations, and external consultants.
