Role: Corporate Finance Team Leader 

Experience Range: 6+ years in Accounting and Finance.  

Qualification: CA/ CMA with Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance.  

Role Summary:  

We seek a proactive self-starter with 6+ years experience in accounting, MIS and taxation, especially in real estate startups. Proficient in Indian accounting standards, direct & indirect taxes, ensuring timely closures, financial controls maintenance, and information provision. Responsibilities include vendor reconciliation, AP/AR ageing analysis, audit support, and process improvement to enhance financial functions’ accuracy, supporting the Accounts Head in daily operations.

Key Deliverables:  

  • Expertise: – Book Closure, Accounting, Process improvement, good knowledge of IGAAP, Indian taxation, and MIS. 
  • Knowledge on ITax, TDS and GST. 
  • Vendor registration and reconciliation on a periodic basis. 
  • Knowledge of export invoices and GCC financial expenditure.  
  • Dedicated to ensuring timely book closures with rigorous controls and promptly providing necessary information as required. 
  • To ensure that all bank accounts and creditor ledger statements are regularly reviewed and reconciled. 
  • Must submit the monthly P&L to management by the 10th of every month. 
  • Have analytical skills and should project the breakeven and overlook the business outcome on monthly basis. 
  • Vendor registration and reconciliation on a periodic basis. 
  • Proficient in analyzing AP and AR aging and conducting business finance analysis across various organizational activities. 
  • Support statutory, Tax and Internal Audits. 
  • Excellent communication, coordination and analytical skills 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams and manage escalations 
  • Proactive self-starter with exceptional planning and organizational skills, capable of adapting flexibly to changing demands 
  • Ability to work flexibly 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Drives process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial functions. 
  • Assists the Accounts Head in day-to-day operations to ensure smooth functioning of financial processes. 

Key Competencies : 

  • 6+ years’ relevant experience in a startup environment, preferably real estate sector 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS office tools 
  • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills 
  • Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
