Role Summary: 

We are seeking a young and dynamic Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong knowledge in the domain of GST & Indirect Taxes and is good at business partnering to achieve the business goals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all monthly GST compliances. Responsibilities include preparing and filing the monthly GST returns working closely with both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team ensuring completeness and accuracy. The role requires a strategic thinker who can integrate technical and legal considerations while working on the Group GST compliances.

Key Deliverables: 

• Working closely with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable team in terms of understanding the GST implications and preparing monthly workings.
• Preparing and finalising the monthly GST returns – GSTR1, reconciliation of input credits and filing of GSTR 3B.
• Finalising the calculations and ensuring GST payments on time.
• Building internal controls and systems to improve compliance and accounting with respect to GST.
• Reviewing Indirect Tax ledgers, reconciliations and reporting to the management on a periodic basis.
• Communication with vendors and customers on any GST related issues.
• Preparing data and documents for filing GST appeals and any other GST queries from the Department.
• GST advisory in terms of Group GST transactions.
• Play an active role in Internal, Statutory, Tax and GST Audits.
• Assists the Accounts Head in any other compliance requirements.
• Requirements:
  • Essential:
    • Significant experience in handling Indirect tax assignments during articleship.
    • Minimum 2+ years of post-qualification experience in Indirect Taxes – having filed monthly GST returns, input credit workings, GST recon,etc.
    • High level of integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS office tools
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams.
    • Exposure in real estate/ project accounting and understanding the nuances of business.
