Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience 

Contract Duration : Full Time 

Qualification : A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement and Logistics, Supply Chain Management or any other relevant field

Role Summary :  

  • At least 3-5years of experience in Procurement, preferably in a similar role in the construction, real estate, architecture or design industry. 
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement process and procedures. 
  • Experience working with suppliers, contractors and/or sub-contractors. 
  • Experience with sourcing, selecting and negotiating with vendors. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to work under pressure, prioritize work and meet strict deadlines. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with experience in spreadsheets and database software. 

Key Deliverables : 

  •  Conduct vendor sourcing activities to identify suitable suppliers for projects. 
  •  Facilitate negotiations for rate contracts 
  • Conduct comprehensive vendor due diligence. 
  • Perform techno-commercial analysis. 
  • Conduct demand analysis 
  • Conduct market research. 
  • Tendering 
  • Vendor assessment and selection 
  • Vendor assessment and evaluation 
  • Contract negotiation and management 
  • Vendor onboarding and integration 
  • Vendor relationship management and optimization 
  • Vendor performance evaluation and management 

Key Competencies : 

Strategic Sourcing Knowledge: Understanding of strategic sourcing methodologies and best practices to effectively identify, evaluate, and select vendors that align with the organization’s goals and objectives. 

Vendor Evaluation and Selection: Ability to develop criteria for evaluating vendor capabilities, including factors such as quality, cost, reliability, and scalability. Competence in conducting thorough vendor assessments and making informed decisions based on the evaluation results. 

Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiating contracts, pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors to achieve favorable agreements that optimize value for the organization while mitigating risks. 

Market Analysis: Capability to conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, industry benchmarks, and potential suppliers, enabling proactive sourcing strategies and opportunities for cost savings. 

Ethical Standards: Adherence to ethical standards and integrity in vendor relationships, ensuring fair and transparent practices in vendor selection, negotiation, and engagement.
