Job Summary: The Lead – Client Spaces is accountable for the timely delivery of customised client areas in co-working fit-outs, driving innovative spatial concepts, and ensuring smooth transitions from concept through technical documentation. This role leads the design vision for dedicated client spaces, prepares compelling 3D visuals, develops accurate base layouts, and coordinates handoff to the technical design team while upholding standards in documentation and drawing management.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Space Design & Delivery
- Manage the entire client space design process—gather requirements, develop creative and functional design solutions, and ensure on-time delivery within project schedules.
- Understand client needs and branding to create bespoke and value-driven co-working environments.
- Lead design charrettes and brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for unique client experiences.
Visualization & Base Layouts
- Develop high-quality 3D perspectives, mood boards, and visual renderings to effectively communicate design intent and win client approvals.
- Prepare base layouts (test fits, preliminary plans, zoning diagrams) that respond to client briefs and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with the technical design team by handing over fully coordinated and approved base layout packages for detailed development.
Technical Handover & Documentation
- Ensure all preliminary and client-approved design documents are well structured, auditready, and meet company documentation standards.
- Maintain comprehensive drawing sets and issue logs for all phases—from concept through technical sign-off.
- Track status of all design submissions, revisions, and approvals using drawing list trackers and document control tools.
Coordination & Communication
- Act as the key liaison between the design function, sales, technical design, and project teams for all client space deliveries.
- Present design solutions to internal and external stakeholders, capturing feedback and ensuring design alignment.
- Collaborate with the AVP – Design for resource allocation, milestone planning, and project updates.
Quality, Compliance & Process Improvement
- Uphold brand, statutory, and project-specific requirements in all client space proposals and documentation.
- Conduct reviews of past projects to drive continual improvement and innovation in client space delivery processes.
