Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Executive – Warehouse & Quality to manage day-to-day warehouse operations with a strong focus on interiors materials, quality inspections, and inventory accuracy. The role involves overseeing inward and outward movements, ensuring quality compliance, and maintaining proper documentation and system updates. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience handling interior fit-out materials, vendor coordination, and quality checks.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Operations
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of materials.
- Ensure accurate inward and outward movement of materials with proper system entries and documentation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock checks, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
- Monitor material movement to avoid damage, loss, or misplacement.
- Support space optimization, layout maintenance, and material segregation as per SOPs.
Quality Inspection (Inward & Outward)
- Conduct quality inspections during inward of materials, especially interiors-related items such as furniture, finishes, fixtures, panels, fittings, and hardware.
- Verify quantity, specifications, finish, dimensions, and damage status against physical document before acceptance.
- Perform outward quality checks to ensure material condition meets center/project requirements before dispatch.
- Identify, document, and report damage, defects, shortages, or mismatches.
- Coordinate with procurement and site teams for replacements, returns, or corrective actions.
Documentation & Systems
- Ensure timely updates in inventory tracker for all transactions.
- Maintain records for GRN, delivery challans, quality check reports, returns, and gate entries.
- Support internal audits and physical verification processes.
- Follow defined SOPs for inventory control, quality checks, and warehouse safety.
Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with procurement and project execution teams to ensure timely dispatch as per site schedules.
- Work closely with procurement teams for smooth material flow.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and warehouse standards.
- Escalate risks, delays, or discrepancies proactively to reporting managers.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Supply Chain/Logistics preferred).
- 4–7 years of experience in warehouse and inventory operations.
- Must-have experience handling interiors / fit-out materials.
- Strong exposure to quality inspections during inward and outward movements.
- Working knowledge of WMS/ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of inventory documentation and controls.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
